Author Guidelines

The authors of the journal "Proceedings of Telecommunication Universities" may be scientists and specialists with PhD and Doctor of Science degrees, as well as young scientists - graduate students (adjuncts) and candidates for a PhD degree from among the teaching staff, engineering and technical personnel, etc. NS.

ORDER OF SENDING, PEER-REVIEW AND PUBLISHING THE MANUSCRIPT

Authors send manuscripts by e-mail to tuzs@spbgut.ru. The e-mail must indicate the title of the article, the author (or co-authors), the scientific specialty in which the author (or co-authors) position their manuscript, and the phone number of the person with whom the editorial office contacts on certain issues.

To post an article, the author (co-authors) submit the following materials to the editor:

  • File with an article (in * .doc or * .docх format) (by template) font: Times New Roman'14 pt, single spacing, all margins are 2 cm).
  • Separate files with drawings in original format.
  • Expert opinion on the absence in the article of materials prohibited for open publication. Employees and students at SPbSUT need to receive a conclusion template for further processing in the editorial office (Bolshevikov pr., building 22/1, office 334/2). Authors from other universities provide a scan in a jpg file, 300 dpi, in color. The expert opinion is drawn up according to the standard adopted by the organization from which the material is sent.
  • A file containing information about the team of authors (in the prescribed form).
  • The manuscript of a graduate student (adjunct) or applicant must be accompanied by a review of the supervisor.

All scientific articles submitted to the editorial office of the journal "Proceedings of Telecommunication Universities" undergo mandatory one-way anonymous ("blind") reviewing.

Authors are kindly asked to adhere to the ethical standards established by the editorial policy of the journal. If there is a positive review, the decision on publication is made by the editorial board. In conflict situations, the decision is made by the editor-in-chief. Publication in "Proceedings of Telecommunication Universities" is free of charge for all the authors. The journal doesn't have any Article processing charges. The journal doesn't have any Article submission charges.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The volume of the article is 10-30 pages.

  2. It is recommended to subdivide the main text into several parts or sections. Subheadings should be in bold style.

  3. The abstract to the article must be in the prescribed form.

  4. Letters in the text and formulas of the Latin alphabet are typed in italics, letters of the Greek and Russian alphabets - in roman type. The mathematical symbols lim, lg, ln, arg, sin, min, etc., are typed in roman.

  5. Each figure or table must be numbered and titled. References to figures and tables in the text of the article are MANDATORY.

  6. The references are formed according to the order of using links in the text and is drawn up in accordance with the requirements for the design of bibliographic references. Self-citation (the number of author’s own publications in the list of sources) should not exceed 20%.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
